Treat Chronic Illnesses
People with with life-sapping chronic illnesses may feel that they are trying to put together the pieces of a puzzle with no clear picture to guide them. I work with my patients to help put the puzzle together and create a picture of what is going on.
A comment that many of my patients make about my work is that I am thorough and methodical. Even if we cannot fill in “all the missing pieces”, often we can find enough information to determine how to improve symptoms and the condition. Combining both conventional evidence-based medical approaches and integrative strategies, my patients often see meaningful improvements that allow them to move forward with their lives.
If you have a chronic illness, you will need to also have a primary care provider to coordinate your care. If you do not have one please let me know and I will recommend one. You will also be asked to continue to see any specialists that manage your condition, and to follow their recommendations.
Some of the chronic conditions that I work with include:
- autoimmune illnesses: arthritis, fibromyalgia
- chronic fatigue, migraines, and musculoskeletal problems
- hypertension, asthma, metabolic syndrome,
- and “I just feel sick, but no one can figure out why and the labs are all normal.”
